Hoodoo & Healing: Connecting with Ancestors Through Writing
Summary:
This workshop explores healing and writing through connection with your ancestors, using writing prompts and storytelling. Drawing from Fawn’s healing journey with endometriosis and her award-winning book Healing in the Fight: A Black Woman’s Journey With Endometriosis and Radical Self-Care, she will discuss her ongoing practice of using Hoodoo and Yoruba/Ifá for healing. Topics will include unlearning, healing, hoodoo, ancestral connections and writing.
